Does the proxy or VPN mode hide me completely?
No. It sends your browser traffic through the proxy you enter, so websites see the proxy’s address. It isn’t a full-device VPN, and the proxy’s operator can see your unencrypted traffic. Use a proxy you trust.
Are my passwords safe?
They are encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore and stored only on your device. We can’t read them. Keep your phone locked and updated.
Can I sign in to my Google account, like in Chrome?
Yes. Sign in to Google once from Settings and Gmail, YouTube, Drive and other Google sites stay signed in in that profile, with your Google photo on the profile. Each profile can use a different Google account. It’s optional. Rapid+ does not sync bookmarks or passwords through Google; that sync is only available in Google’s own Chrome.
Is Rapid+ free?
Yes. Rapid+ is free on Android and Windows, with no trial, subscription or in-app purchases.
Does Rapid+ show ads or track me?
No ads and no analytics or tracking SDKs. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of what the app handles.
Why does Android warn me when I install the APK?
Android warns about any app installed from outside Google Play. Only install the file from this website.
How do profiles work?
Each profile has its own tabs, history, bookmarks, passwords, site settings, proxy and user agent. Switching is instant and pages don’t reload. On an older Android System WebView, profiles may share website logins and cookies; the app tells you if this applies.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Everything stored on your device is removed with the app.
